Chithambara Adigalar Library

ChithambaraAdigalar Library and Information Centre, this Library was established in the year 1954. This is the dream of our Pontiff His Holiness Thavathiru SanthalingaRamasamy Adigalar, and the present infrastructure, growth of library with study material is possible because of our President Dr.V.MarudhasalaAdihal. TSAAST has fully equipped infrastructure with all modern facilities located in 2,970 square meter area. It consists of more than 36,021 volumes with 34,330 titles, 6000 e-books and more than 1000 video lectures. The library operations are fully automated by using CMS software. The library hosts an array of volumes of CD-ROM database, audio-visual material, online video lectures & tutorials coupled with an easy access to e-journals. In addition to this, Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) facilities are also provided to all the users.

All the activities of the Library come under the supervision of the Librarian Dr. S. Abirami B.Sc.,MLIS., MPhil., PGDCA., Ph.D. From the academic year (2013 - 2014) onwards the library and Information Centre was upgraded to digital library with OPAC facility.
