TSA CAS is home to one of the richest collections of Sangam period statutes, manuscripts, and terracotta artifacts in Tamil Nadu. Every artifact has been carefully restored, preserved, and protected by in-house experts. The Sangam Artifact Museum is open to school students, researchers, and other history enthusiasts.

Manuscripts
Recollecting the vast knowledge of Sangam Tamil.
With Olai Chuvadi on topics as diverse as literature, medicine, yoga, and astrology, the archival holding is an excellent opportunity to gain a deep sense of Sangam culture.
750+ rare palm-leaf manuscripts have been digitized for easy access and wider knowledge dissemination.

Sculptures
Revisiting an earlier century, carved in stone.
A collection of 50+ stone sculptures that decorated ancient temples and towns, now preserved within the venerable walls of the Sangam Museum. The statutes of gods, goddesses, and ancient heroes regularly feature in the special lectures of the Tamil Department.

Artifacts
Restoring the collective memory of an ancient civilization.
100+ coins, terracotta, and metal artifacts, recovered from the local historical sites by archaeologists and TSA CAS students. The repository also includes aluminium coins from ancient Roman traders visiting Perur, a terracotta Buddha, and copper plates bearing Brahmi and Tamil inscriptions.
